  • Lived Experiences

A therapist DOESN’T need to have gone through your experience to be a great therapist for you.
However, sometimes, it’s nice to know that they are familiar with what you are bringing in, especially with some of these unique topics.
It’s like “You’ve gone to France, you’ve come back to tell me about it, but you also have to tell me in French."
Having to teach a therapist French, while also trying to talk about your experiences in France can be a lot of work.

While I don’t know YOUR unique experiences, I might be more on your page faster with your unique situations than most in the following areas:

Lived Experience with a Unique Brain (late-diagnosed).

Lived experience as a parent to a Unique Brained teen.

Lived experience as a partner with a Unique Brain (late-diagnosed).

Lived experience in a High Demand/Control Group.

    Lived experience with spiritual/religious trauma.

    Lived experience with parental estrangement.

    Lived Experience with Moral Injury.
